Oh my god. That may very well be the ugliest damn beaker ever drawn in existence. Take it in folks. Take a whiff of that steaming pile of bad. For it is a once in a life time majesty you are witnessing here and now.

So yes. Bit by the RP group bug again.

I like making characters too much. This app was made in a fatigued state on a shorter deadline than I would've liked (I snuck it in between cleaning and errands and sleeping.) So it'll probably be updated to some degree in the future.

History:
Created in the Arctic Lab, while he was still in the process of controlling his freezing power he was sent to the North Atlantic Lab to develop combining his power with water and strategic use of the fog it created.

Vaughn was isolated for much of his life due to the nature of his power. His skin is extremely cold to the touch if not in control, and could burn on contact. Currently his stable temperature would feel hypothermic to others. Most found it uncomfortable, especially outside the Arctic Lab, so even with his powers in check he wears gloves and a thermal jacket.

After transferring to the North Atlantic Lab, the warmer climate caused problems with his exhaling increased amounts of carbon dioxide gas (though it was regarded as a newly discovered “power”). Without proper ventilation, his roommates were at risk for CO₂ poisoning, so he was isolated much of his time there. He now carries a special mask to filter the gas to normal levels if the need arises.

Vaughn transferred to the Pacific Lab to practice under various seasonal weather, officially. In reality he didn’t want to start losing fingers over his refusal to practice his sublimation abilities.


Strengths:
-Can withstand extremely cold temperatures.
-Hand to hand combat and stealth.
-Finding his way around in low visibility.
-Super quick reflexes.
-Taking care of plants.


Faults:
-Hydrophobic, but he can handle it as long as he isn’t submerged in water.
-Can’t swim. Because of aforementioned reasons.
-The moment his patience is pushed over the edge he snaps and his control over his power becomes unstable.
-He doesn’t do well in hot environments, another reason he wears his jacket.
-Not used to being touched. Will respond to friendly physical contact with awkwardness.

Additional Information:
-Likes wide open air areas where he doesn’t have to worry about poisoning anyone.
-Has extremely fast reflexes but is slow to react in social situations.
-Used to being alone but doesn’t necessarily prefer it.
-He can keep his body temperature stable now but he wears the gloves anyway because he’s been told shaking hands with him is like touching a corpse.
-Potentially his power to create a fog can extend to seeing with said fog, or maybe even shifting into a gas himself. The latter idea terrifies him.
